PREP ATHLETICS: Camden announces All-Conference teams for baseball, softball

MARSHALL – The Camden Conference recently announced its All-Conference teams for baseball and softball and multiple area players made the list.

Led by the conference’s softball coach of the year Heidi Boerboom, Minneota/Canby had five individuals make the All-Conference softball team. The Vikings were led by Sydney Larson, Brooklyn Nelson, Abby Hennen, Emily Pohlen and Madison Sorensen. Larson was also named MVP of the Conference.

Tracy-Milroy-Balaton was represented by Kate Danielson and Kiara Danielson while Russell-Tyler-Ruthton had Kylea Baartman and Rhaegyn Petersen make the list. Dawson-Boyd’s Mary Bothun, Lakeview’s Kiana Imes and YME’s Emily Cobb also made the list.

Joining the area players on the All-Conference list was Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg’s Katie Krieger, Mallory Rudningen, Savanna Hagen and Maret Gjerde, Lac qui Parle Valley’s Haley Wollschlager and Cassidie Olson, MACCRAY’s Jaimi Heida and Abi Pieper and Renville County West’s Pamela Winzenburg.

Leading the way on the Honorable Mention team was Minneota/Canby’s Kaylee Johnson, TMB’s Brooklyn Ludeman, Dawson-Boyd’s Amelia Olson, RTR’s Madison Burns, Lakeview’s Trinity Kirckof and YME’s Megan Nordaune. Joining the area players was KMS’ Annika Smith, LQPV’s Lindsay Kranz, MACCRAY’s Kate Hutlgren and RCW’s Hayley Gustafson.

In baseball, TMB was led by Jake Byrne, Caleb Nordsiden, Jake Tauer and Konnor Zick. Minneota was represented by Landon Rolbiecki, Ted Pesch and Sam Buysse while RTR had Payton Hess and Hayden Gravley and YME had Angel Jimenez and Carter Sneller make the All-Conference team.

Canby was represented by Nolan Harding and Kalib Greenman while Lakeview’s Noah Jensen and Dawson-Boyd’s Griffin Johnson made the list. Joining the area players were KMS’ Weston Gjerde, Dylan Rudningen, Regan Carlson, Alex Call and Isaac Call, LQPV’s Dain Haas, Caden Bjornjeld and Brett Baldwin, RCW’s Jacob Grund and Justin Schrupp, MACCRAY’s Rhys Schwitters, Gabe Henker and CMCS’ Jay Marcus.

Leading the way on the Honorable Mention team was Canby’s Evan Stoks, Dawson-Boyd’s Kolten Lindblad, Lakeview’s Zach Mueller, Minneota’s Thomas Hennen, RTR’s Cody Wichmann, TMB’s Luc Gervais and YME’s Ty Schulte. Joining the area players was CMCS’ Tucker Dehmlow, KMS’ Christian Diederich, LQPV’s Wyatt Halvorson, MACCRAY’s Brady Kienitz and RCW’s Brandan Hoberg.
