MARSHALL – The Southwest Minnesota State University outdoor track & field teams will host the Mustang Twilight today at the Marshall Regional Track & Field Complex.

SMSU added the one-day meet earlier in April due to the Mustang Open being canceled due to poor weather on March 29-30. Athletes from six schools are expected to compete in the meet which will begin mid-afternoon.

This will be the second collegiate meet hosted by SMSU since the Marshall Regional Track & Field Complex opened. The inaugural Mustang Open was held on March 31 and April 1, 2017, but the last two meets were canceled due to weather in both 2018 and this season.
