WINDOM — Tracy-Milroy-Balaton scored first, but Windom Area answered quickly and the Eagles would hold on to defeat the Panthers 9-7 in baseball action on Friday.

Caleb Nordsiden led the TMB offense with two hits and an RBI. Jake Byrne added a two-run RBI in the win, while Jake Tauer and Sawyer Otto also recorded doubles.

Byrne was the pitcher of record in the loss, as he threw the final 1 2/3 innings and struck out two batters.

Landon Strong led Sleepy Eye, going 3 for 3 with three runs scored and was a home run shy of hitting for a cycle.

RRC/WWG recorded only three hits in the loss, led by Mason Irlbeck who doubled and scored the team’s lone run.
