MARSHALL – The Southwest Swim Club attended several swim meets in January. The FOXJ Winter Classic was held at the University of Minnesota’s Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on Jan. 18-20 and featured more than 1,000 of the fastest swimmers from the upper Midwest. SSC had one swimmer compete in the meet with four swims and two personal bests.

The SFST January Invite was held in Sioux Falls (S.D.) on Jan. 25-27 and featured over 400 athletes from 17 swims clubs from South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota. SSC had three swimmers compete in the meet with nine individual events, three personal bests, and two Top 8 finishes.

The Manta Penguin Invite was held in Mankato on Sunday and featured over 150 athletes from eight Minnesota swim clubs. SSC had nine swimmers compete in the meet with 32 individual events and 25 personal bests.
