YOUTH HOCKEY: Marshall Bantam hockey holds home tournament

MARSHALL – The Marshall Bantam A and B hockey teams hosted a 16 team tournament at the Red Baron Arena & Expo this past weekend.

Marshall Bantam A won their first game 6-0 versus Watertown, SD. Sean Nwaiga led the scoring with four goals, Wyatt Boerboom had two goals and Lincoln Mellenthin recorded an eight-save shutout.

In the next games, the Tigers fell 2-1 to Hermantown and then 11-1 to New Prague. In the finale, the Tigers lost to St. Peter by a score of 7-4. Joey Fossum and Sean Nwaiga each tallied two goals.
