MARSHALL – The Marshall Bantam A hockey team squared off against Fairmont at Red Baron Arena & Expo on Saturday. Marshall won 3-0 behind a 13-save shutout from goaltender Lincoln Mellenthin.

Wyatt Boerboom led the scoring with two goals and Joey Fossum added the other. Tucker Mauch had two assists while Talan Plante, Sean Nwaiga, Jared Reinsma and Gabe Sherman each added one assist. The team returns to action on Jan. 5 at 4:45 p.m. vs. Windom at home. The Tigers Bantam A season record is now at 7-8-1.
