MARSHALL – The Southwest Minnesota State University women’s golf team continues its fall schedule this weekend competing at the Augustana Fall Invite on at Elmwood Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The 10-team, 36-hole invite gets underway on Saturday morning with SMSU’s first tee time at 9:37. Sunday’s final round is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.

SMSU is coming off an 11th place finish at the 17-team Ramada Mustang Invite last weekend at the Marshall Golf Club. The Mustangs shot scores of 326 and 332 for a total of 658.

Sophomore Hannah Kohls led SMSU tying for 16th place in the 103-player field with a 14-over 156 (75-81). Kohls leads the team through three tournaments with an 81 stroke average in five rounds. Freshman Grace Miller ranks second on the the squad with an 83 stroke average.

Following this weekend, SMSU will conclude the fall portion of its 2018-19 season on Oct. 7-8 at the Midwest Classic in Maryville, Missouri.
