ROCHESTER – Multiple Marshall youth soccer teams recently wrapped their seasons at the state tournament in Rochester over the weekend, all with high place finishes.

The 12U boys White team took second place in their age group. The team tied its first game on Friday 3-3 before winning 6-0 to qualify for the semifinal round as the wild card. In the semifinals, Marshall won 3-1 to advance to the championship game on Sunday, where they would fall in a tight game to take second.

The 12U boys Orange team took fifth place in their age group. The team won its first game on Friday 3-1 before ultimately placing fifth. The placing is based on highest point total in pool play for non-semifinal teams.
