AREA BASEBALL: 15U Orange beats West St. Paul 16-6

EAGAN – The Marshall 15U Orange baseball team defeated West St. Paul 16-6 in five innings on Saturday.

Cole Felcyn led the way for Marshall with a 4 for 5 day at the plate with four RBI while AJ Toulouse added a hit and four RBI and Spencer Wambeke went 1 for 2 with two RBI. Braden Meyer, Benson Kuecker and Mitch Bouwman all had two hits and an RBI while Zach Allen had a hit and an RBI. Noah Blomme and Josh Baker each had a hit while Chase Douglas had an RBI as well.

Bouwman earned the win in relief, going two innings while allowing no runs on no hits and striking out three.

Marshall will play in the MSF 15U tournament this weekend in Ham Lake, beginning with a matchup against East Grand Forks on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
