AMATEUR BASEBALL: Milroy Yankees cruise past Granite Falls 11-3

GRANITE FALLS – The Milroy Yankees amateur baseball team defeated the Granite Falls Kilowatts 11-3 on Sunday.

Isaac Schmitt led the way for the Yankees with a 2 for 4 day at the plate with two RBI while Brian Dolan and Riley Carpenter each added a hit and two RBI.

Tyler Vaughn earned the win on the mound for Milroy, going seven innings while allowing three runs on 11 hits and striking out four.

Cam Vien led the way for Granite Falls with a 3 for 4 day at the plate with a home run and three RBI while Craig Listul added three hits.

Colten Vien took the loss for Granite Falls, going five innings while allowing seven runs on seven hits and striking out four.
