MINNEWASKA – Three Marshall girls golfers participated in the Minnesota Junior PGA Championship that was held on Tuesday and Wednesday at Minnewaska Golf Club.

Senior Ana Schwarz shot a two-day total of 173 (91-82) to finish tied for 26th while junior Olivia Peterson also fired a two-day total of 173 (87-86) to finish tied for 26th. Sophomore Rachel Schwarz shot a two-day total of 185 (95-90) to finish 41st.

Red Wing’s Sophia Yoemans finished in first with a two-day total of 144 (71-73), followed by her teammate Leah Herzog (74-75, 149) and Isabella McCauley of Inver Grove Heights (78-74, 152) in third.
