MARSHALL – The Southwest Minnesota State University women’s golf team resumes action this Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the 54-hole Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championship at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex-Outlaw Course in Smithville, Missouri.

The championship was originally scheduled to be played at Dacotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton, but was relocated due to poor weather.

Both Friday and Saturday’s rounds will begin with tee times starting at 9 a.m., while Sunday’s final round will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start.

Live updates from the conference championship can be found on the championship website: NorthernSun.org/NSICWGolf.

Augustana University has won the past eight conference championships, including a 52-stroke win last season.

SMSU finished sixth at last season’s 12-team championship with a score of 144-over-par 1,008. Ashley Bixby led the Mustangs last season tying for 14th place with a 29-over 245.
