MARSHALL – Due to poor weather in the upper Midwest this weekend, the Southwest Minnesota State baseball four-game series scheduled for today and Sunday at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, has been canceled.

SMSU has now had eight Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games and 10 overall canceled this season and has yet to play a game in the state of Minnesota.

SMSU (9-15, 4-10 NSIC) is scheduled to return to the diamond next Wednesday versus Augustana University. The doubleheader is scheduled for Marshall, but could be relocated due to poor field conditions.
