SMSU ATHLETICS: More SMSU events moved around, canceled for this week
MARSHALL – More Southwest Minnesota State University events have been canceled or moved around for this week.
FOOTBALL
The annual Spring Game and Kids Clinic have been canceled due to inclement weather, according to coach Cory Sauter.
SOFTBALL
The Mustangs’ doubleheader against Minnesota State University, Mankato has been canceled due to poor conditions on the field. SMSU will look to play its doubleheader against St. Cloud State University and the University of Minnesota Duluth this weekend.
The Mustangs are scheduled to face the Huskies on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. before closing the weekend with a pair of games against the Bulldogs on Sunday, starting at noon.
BASEBALL
SMSU’s doubleheader against Augustana University will now be played today at Millard North High School in Omaha, Nebraska with the first game scheduled to take place at 6 p.m.
VOLLEYBALL
The volleyball team canceled its pair of spring matches against Concordia-St. Paul and the University of Sioux Falls that was supposed to be played on Wednesday.
