MARSHALL – The Southwest Minnesota State University women’s team will look to secure its first conference win of the season this weekend with a pair of matches in Owatonna.

SMSU (2-3, 0-2 NSIC) will take on Upper Iowa University (1-3, 1-1 NSIC) today starting at 5:30 p.m., before facing Winona State University (3-2, 2-0 NSIC) on Sunday with match time set for 6 p.m.

Both matches will take place at the West Hills Tennis and Fitness Center.

SMSU is 1-12 all-time versus UIU since the two teams first met in 2007. SMSU’s lone victory came during the 2010 season.

WSU holds 29-13 all-time advantage in the series and has won the previous 22 meetings. SMSU’s last win over WSU came in 1996.
