TUESDAY PREP ROUNDUP: Lancers get tripped up by MACCRAY

CLARA CITY – The Canby boys basketball team fell to MACCRAY 65-54 on Tuesday.

Zach Durfee led the way for the Lancers with 19 points while Blake Mercer added 11 and Riley Kockelman and Jacob Crowser chipped in eight each. Mercer and Crowser led in rebounds with seven apiece while Ethan Thovson led in assists with four.

Canby (3-8) will face Renville County West today at 7:15 p.m.

Logan Sussner led the way for the Vikings with 20 points while Thomas Hennen added 18 and Jacob Hennen chipped in 15. Sussner led in rebounds with 12 while Isaac Hennen added nine.

Minneota (11-0) will face Dawson-Boyd today at 7:15 p.m.

Alyssa Beckius led the way for the Lancers with 16 points while Sarah Hansen added 14 and Norah King had 12. King led in rebounds with seven with Kaylee Leppke and Morgan Cleveland each added six. Sarah Hansen also led in assists with seven.
