ST. PAUL – For the second week in a row, Minnesota Morris senior guard CD Douglas receives the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week award.

The senior guard had another stellar week for the Cougars. He scored 26 points and pulled down seven rebounds Wednesday against Bethany Lutheran. On Saturday, in the team’s record-tying offensive output of 120 points, Douglas scored 27 more points while dishing out eight assists and grabbing seven rebounds. He shot 66 percent from the floor over the two games and was a perfect 15 for 15 from the free-throw line.

Douglas leads the UMAC with a 21.8 scoring average and a 95.3 (81-for-85) free throw percentage. His 53 percent shooting from the floor puts him second in the conference.
