HADLEY - The Hadley Buttermakers picked up a 7-4 victory over the Milroy Irish on Sunday.
Trent Carlson lead the Buttermakers (3-0) with three RBI to go with two from Eric Wieneke and one from Max Zwart. Alex Petersen and Colby Pack each had doubles.
Mason Schaible and Derek Riley recorded RBI for the Irish while Ian Dolan hit a double.
Hadley jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning before the Irish cut it to 4-3 after the fourth. The Buttermakers pulled away in the fifth, scoring three times and the Irish weren't able to recover.
Justin Reinsma pitched for the win. He struck out eight while walking four in his 6 1/3 innings.
Tyler Petersen took the loss as he struck out four and walked two in his four innings. He gave up seven runs on eight hits.
James Wajer got the save, working the last 2 2/3 innings. He struck out three while allowing just one hit and three walks.

MILROY - The Bird Island Bullfrogs edged the Milroy Yankees 4-3 on Sunday as the Yankees suffered a home loss. Andrew Brooks lead Bird Island with two RBI as he went 2-for-4 from the plate. BI also got RBI from Shawn Dollerschell and Tyler Seehusen.
Riley Carpenter and Josh Hadley drove in two of the three Yankees runs and Matt Bauer weent 3-for-5 from the plate and scored one run. Brian Dolan and Aaron Mathiowitz also scored runs.
Luke Kramer picked up the win for Bird Island as he struck out six and walked four, allowing three runs in six innings. Dylan Gass picked up the save with two strikeouts and two walks in three innings of work.
Hadley took the loss for Milroy, striking out two and walking one as he allowed four runs on eight hits.
Austin Duetz put in five innings of work for the Yankees, striking out four and walking one and allowed no runs and no hits.

Windom 14, Tracy 9
TRACY - Tracy Express pitcher Anthony Rohlik ran into elbow trouble in his start against the Windom Pirates on Sunday.
Rohlik lasted just one-third of an inning and allowed eight runs on three hits. He walked three and struck out three and took the loss.
Windom took the 14-9 victory.
Shane Wabecke also had a tough time in relief, allowing five runs on seven hits in three and one third inning of work. He also struck out five.
Dean Rohlik calmed things down on the mound, pitching three innings of shutout baseball while striking out five before Cory Apperson and Eric Wiering each pitched an inning in relief.
Kyle Johnson provided an offensive highlight for the Pirates, hitting a two-run home run in the first ininng while Dane Nielsen provided two doubles and two RBI. They also got two RBI from Chad Loran.
Wabecke gave the Express some offense, driving in two runs to go with his double. Wiering and Jeremy Hofflock also doubled.

MINNEOTA - The Mudhens fell in an offensive shootout to Dumont on Sunday.
Tyson Sonnenburg, Jesus Macias and Jason Myhre each hit home runs in the game with Sonnenburg's and Macias's each being three-run shots.
Eric Deal of Dumont topped them all with a grand slam as part of a nine-run fifth inning.
Macias finished with five RBI.

DAWSON - Dawson earned an 11-4 win over Wheaton on Sunday.
Donnie Hermanson, Anthony Berreau, Justin Lee, Derek Gritmacker, Joe Haugen and Cody Curry each had an RBI and Lee finished with a double.
Jordan Staab went the full nine innings on the mound, striking out ten while walking just four and allowing one earned run.
Taylor McCalip went 2-for-5 for Wheaton with a double and the Walleyes also jad hits from Trent Conroy, Joe Hasse and Kyle Nimquist.

CANBY - Nate Haseman, Sam Mattson and Jacob Torgeson combined for a four-hit shutous as Morris defeated Canby on Sunday.
Tony Ross, Tate Citrowske, Stephen Huber and Cole Morris (double) all produced hits for the Knights.
Kirby Marquardt had a double, a home run and drove in three runs as he went 3-for-4 at the plate for Morris. Nathan Gades added a pair of singles, a home run and an RBI.
