YME students to perform 'Oklahoma!' Nov. 8-10

Yellow Medicine East High School students will perform the musical "Oklahoma!" at 7 p.m. Nov. 8-9 and again at 3 p.m. Nov. 10, in the YME High School Auditorium located at 450 9th Ave, in Granite Falls. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students and are available at the door. There will be a pulled pork meal served from 4:30-6:30 p.m. prior to the Friday (Nov. 9) performance. Cost is $6 (or $5 with a Friends of Music discount card) and supplemental funds will be provided by MN River Chapter of Thrivent Financial #31311.

Marshall Middle School annual Veterans' Day events announced

Veterans' Day events will start at 8:40 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, in the Marshall Middle School gymnasium. (For student safety, any visitors to the program will be required to check in at the door and wear a visitor's pass. Teachers will be available to assist with this.)
