Right before leaving the house this morning, I told my daughter twice that the front steps were slippery, but down she went anyway. She was carrying a bowl of frosted mini-wheats and the milk dripped on her but most of it remained in the bowl.
“Do you want me to go get your bowl? Most of the cereal is still in there,” I said. “No!” was the reply.
She declared her day ruined as we got into the car. She said, “I’ll probably smell like milk the rest of the day! I’ll probably have a mini-wheat stuck to the back of my pants.”
