Katherine Konkol

SLAYTON — Services for Katherine “Margaret” Konkol, 88, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann’s Church in Slayton. Burial is a St. Ann’s Cemetery in Slayton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.

She died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021, at the Murray County Medical Center.

She was born in Oct. 25, 1933, in Onamia, to John and Katherine (Kertzman) Vander Heyden.

Survivors include her husband, Jake; children, Deanna, Howie, Tom, Mary Olson, Joe, and Rick; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Genevieve Czech, Delores Pick, Louise Billmeyer, Lorraine Mischke, Clarice Marshik, and brother, Jim Vander Heyden.
