Dale Anderson

WALNUT GROVE — Services for Dale William Anderson, 80, of Walnut Grove, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Walnut Grove Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove City Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Walnut Grove Ambulance, 311 6th St., Walnut Grove, MN 56180. Stephens Funeral Service – Walnut Grove Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Sanford-Sioux Falls Medical Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.

He was born Jan. 6, 1939, to Virgil and Nina (Addison) Anderson in Holly Township, Murray County. He served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Berlin for two years.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; children, Mark of Winona and Mary Hewitt of Walnut Grove; two grandchildren; sisters, Judy, Joanne Doan and Jeanette Heggerston; and brother, Jerry.
