William Klein

TRACY — Graveside service for William Dale Klein, 87 of Tracy will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Tracy City Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Tracy Area Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Tracy Hospice House. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.

He was born Jan. 14, 1932, to David and Florence (Briaid) Klein in Tracy. He was called to active duty with the local National Guard Unit and served during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy; children, Debra Helleson of Faribault, Kathryn of Shakopee, Dale of Paynesville, Ted of St. Bonifacius; stepdaughter, Christine Schmitt of Milroy; stepson, Royce of Alexandria; eight grandchildren; and brothers, Melvin, and Lyle Ely.
