CURRIE – Private family graveside services will be held on Wednesday for Patricia Ann Fritz, 90, at the Calvary Cemetery in Currie, with a celebration of Pat’s life at Painted Prairie Vineyard in rural Currie at noon. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.

She died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at St. Johns Nursing Home in Springfield, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was born Oct. 29, 1928, in Glenwood, to Allen and Helen Cheesemen Hess.

Survivors include her three children, Mike of Currie, JoAnn Bertschi of Walnut Grove, and Jill Kaduce of Winnebago; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
