Stanley Clausen

CURRIE — Services for Stanley “Stan” Dale Clausen, 79, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Currie. Burial is at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Avoca. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the IHM Church in Currie, and also one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.

He died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at Our House Hospice.

He was born Nov. 21, 1939, on the family farm near Dundee, to Julius and Lillian (Koehn) Clausen.

Survivors include his wife, Eva of Currie; children, Joe of Fulda, Patty Clausen-Klutse of Zimmerman, Becky Fox of Cottage Grove and Charlie of Maple Grove; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and siblings, Carol Erickson of Woodbury, Marilyn Mobley of Tracy, Calif., Richard of Bloomington, Darrel of King City, Mo., and Tom of Cohasset.
