Donald Lootens
BRANDON, S.D. — Services for Donald A. Lootens, 75, of Brandon, S.D., will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Risen Savior Catholic Church in Brandon. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Edward Catholic Cemetery in Minneota. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Marge of Brandon; daughters, Jennifer (Dan) Haberman of Broken Arrow, Okla, Nita (Tim) Steffel and Stacy (Derek) Thompson, both of Brandon; grandchildren, Amanda (Braden) Martin, Zachary Haberman, Courtney Herrick, Caleb Steffel, Luke (Julia Blue) Thompson, Blake Thompson, and Shane Thompson; step-grandsons, Cody and Casey Steffel; great-granddaughter, Adley Martin; and sisters, Elaine (Leon) Kack and Pat (Harold) DeSmet, both of Minneota, and Betty (Jeff) Winkels of Canby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Doris Lootens.
