Maynard Swoboda

REDWOOD FALLS — Services for Maynard Paul Swoboda, 63, of Redwood Falls, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Burial will be in the Redwood Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Redwood Animal Shelter. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, due to cardiac arrest at Redwood Area Hospital in Redwood Falls.

He was born Oct. 27, 1955, to Joseph and Beatrice (Knisley) Swoboda in Redwood Falls.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Kissner-Swoboda; children, Kim Drees of Apple Valley, Jeff Kissner of Victoria, Kari Hess of Farmington, and Kami Schneiderman of Danube; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert of Redwood Falls.
