EUSTIS, Neb. — Mass of the Christian Burial for Cynthia E. Schurr, 62, of Eustis, Neb., will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cozad. Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Omaha National Cemetery, Omaha, Neb. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday at Berryman Funeral Home. Memorials suggested to the Eustis Senior Center or Eustis Fire and Rescue.

She died Friday, June 29, 2018, at her home in Eustis, Nebraska.

Cynthia was born Sept. 28, 1955, in Marshall to Thomas B. and Marie L. (Curwick) Sullivan. She graduated from Norfolk Catholic High School with the Class of 1974 and attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Cynthia married Stanley T. Schurr on May 26, 1979, at the American Lutheran Church in Cozad, Nebraska.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley of Eustis; children, Melissa Thompson and husband Joey of Omaha, Rebecca Maboussou and husband Alain of Elkhorn and Patrice Schurr of Omaha; grandchildren, Emma, Kailey and Gracie Thompson and Catherine, Madeleine, Sophia and Elizabeth Maboussou; mother, Marie Sullivan of Marshall; sisters, Kerry Braithwait and husband Ken of Wathena, Kan., Erin Zlomke and husband Scott of Grand Island and Abby Appel and husband Randy of Marshall; brothers, Kevin Sullivan and wife Crystal of Grayslake, Ill., Kirby Sullivan and wife Mary Claire of Omaha, Neb., Jim Sullivan and wife Terri of Aberdeen, S.D., Murray Sullivan of Marshall and Tom Sullivan and wife Wendy of Eau Claire, Wis.; and many other relatives and friends.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Sullivan and her father and mother in-law, Martin and Erna Schurr.
