Marcella Plaetz

WABASSO — Services for Marcella Plaetz, 95, of Redwood Falls, and formerly of Wabasso, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, with parish prayers and rosary at 6:30 p.m., and will continue on Tuesday, from 10-11 a.m., all at the church. Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls.

She died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Wood Dale Home in Redwood Falls.

She was born Nov. 22, 1922, on the family farm near Bancroft, Iowa, to August and Agnes (Fangman) Lensing.

Survivors include her children, Colleen Zeman of Big Lake, Steve of Redwood Falls, Virginia Beckman of Naples, Florida, Justine of Redwood Falls, Dennis of Lucan and Bernadette Kossler of Normal, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Lensing of Wabasso; and her sister, Cyrilla McDonald of Wabasso.
