Lois Sorenson

PIPESTONE — Services for Lois Ida Sorenson, 79, of Pipestone will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at First Lutheran Church in Pipestone. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 1, at the Hartquist Funeral Home – Pipestone Chapel. The service will also serve as a time of remembrance for Lois and Bill’s son, Bart, who died in California in 2016. Arrangements are with the Hartquist Funeral Home – Pipestone Chapel.

She died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at the Pipestone County Hospice House.

She was born March 30, 1939, to Albert “Bert” and Caroline (Meyer) Goltz in Tracy.

Survivors include her husband, Bill of Pipestone; children, Lesa of Lakeville, Londa Quittem of Lakeville, and Bradlee of Plymouth; eight grandchildren; two step grandsons; one great-granddaughter; one step great-grandson; siblings, David Goltz of Fort Meyers, Fla., Norma Klein of Marshall, Marilyn Leysen of Slayton, Donald Goltz of Savage and Lyle Goltz of Gibson City, Ill.
