REDWOOD FALLS — Services for Roger Daniel Schmit, 74, of Jamestown, North Dakota and formerly of Redwood Falls, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at the church. Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls. He died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at Aneta Parkview Nursing Home in Aneta, North Dakota.

He was born Jan. 20, 1944, in Redwood Falls to John and Ann Marie (Hammerschmidt) Schmit.

Survivors include his brother Jerome of Redwood Falls and sister-in-law of Springfield.
