Eleanor Berglund

FULDA — Services for Eleanor Avis Warren Berglund, 90, of Fulda, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Slayton. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. today at the Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton and also one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday. Burial is at Hillside Cemetery in Lake Wilson. She died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda.

She was born July 13, 1927, on the family farm in Lime Lake Township, Murray County, to Emil and Anna Moen Toner. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Slayton.

Survivors include her children, Kathleen DeBoer of Lake Benton, Walter Warren of Iona and Charles Warren of Littleton, Colo.; step-children: Carol Serfling of Adrian, Lorraine Halbur of Iona, Darrell of Adrian and James of Iona; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Sherman “Sam” Toner of Slayton, Charles of Aurora, Colo., and foster sibling, Valerie Veld of Iona.
