VESTA — Services for Marvel Marie Schueller, 81, of Vesta will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial will be at a later date at Holy Name Catholic Cemetery in Vesta. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall after an extended battle with heart disease.

She was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Seaforth, to Edward and Alvina (Glassman) Maxa.

Survivors include her husband, Glen; children, Deb Bruns of Marshall, Sherry Daugherty of Lawrenceville, Ga., Jody Reese of Sartell, Jamie Boushek of New Ulm, Jeff of Burnsville, Nancy Messner of Rosemount, Gina Bahn of Wood Lake, Rhonda Schueller-Murphy of Brooklyn Park, and Corey of Sartell; 28 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn McKay of Rochester and Ruth Bliss of Redwood Falls; and brother, Vernon Maxa of Brainerd.
