Crime and Accidents for April 4

MARSHALL — A 22-year-old man was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance in a traffic incident at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of North Fifth Street and West Marshall Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Bank card fraud reported at 10:24 p.m. Tuesday is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A 29-year-old man was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance in a traffic incident at 10:24 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of South Bruce Street and East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

MINNEOTA — A runaway was reported at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of Elm Place, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL — An incident reported at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of Lilac Drive is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A 19-year-old man was cited for driving after revocation and speeding at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of the Lyon/Redwood County Road and Minnesota Highway 19, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL — A 55-year-old woman was cited for driving after suspension and failure to provide proof of insurance in a traffic incident at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday on the 600 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MINNEOTA — Vandalism was reported at 9:12 a.m. Tuesday at Christianson Park, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL — A report is not complete on theft at 7:51 a.m. Tuesday on the 1200 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

Accidents

IVANHOE — A Tyler woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash Wednesday on Lincoln County Road 5, the Minnesota State Patrol said. The crash was reported at 7:53 a.m. in Ash Lake Township, southeast of Ivanhoe. A 2010 Buick driven by Thea Keifer, 55, of Tyler, was northbound on County Road 5 when it drifted into the other lane. Keifer overcorrected, went into the ditch and rolled the vehicle, the State Patrol said. Keifer was taken to Avera Tyler Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, and Ivanhoe Fire and Ambulance all responded at the scene of the crash.
