Crime and Accidents for April 19

MARSHALL — A 56-year-old man was cited for speeding at 12:06 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of East College Drive and O’Connell Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Reports were sent to the county attorney for consideration of drug possession charges against two women, both 19, in an incident reported at 10:02 p.m. Wednesday on the 1100 block of East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

TRACY — A 36-year-old man was cited for failure to provide proof of insurance in a traffic incident at 8:34 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Center Street and Maple Lane, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL — An incident reported at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday on the 2400 block of Lyon County Road 9 is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL — Shoplifting was reported at 4:39 p.m. Wednesday on the 1200 block of Susan Drive, Marshall Police said.

TRACY — Found property was reported at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday on the 900 block of Pine Street, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL — Fraud reported at 1:31 p.m. Wednesday on the 400 block of South Saratoga Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — An incident reported at 11:58 a.m. Wednesday is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

Accidents

MARSHALL — A vehicle went off the road and into a ditch filled with several feet of water in an accident reported at 4:13 p.m. Wednesday on the 3000 block of Lyon County Road 9, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said. No injuries were reported, but the vehicle was towed because of immersion in the water, the Sheriff’s Department said.

GARVIN — A report is not complete on a property damage accident where a vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 7:06 a.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of Grant Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
