MINNEOTA — A 17-year-old male was cited for violating an instruction permit at 9:39 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of North Jackson Street and East Second street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
MARSHALL — Shoplifting was reported at 9:29 p.m. Tuesday on the 1400 block of Boyer Drive, Marshall Police said.
BALATON — A 39-year-old male was cited for speeding at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 150th Avenue and U.S. Highway 14, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
MARSHALL — A 21-year-old male was cited for speeding at 8:39 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and Lyon County Road 8, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
TRACY — An animal complaint was reported at 6:34 p.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of Rowland Street, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.
COTTONWOOD — A report was sent to the Cottonwood city attorney for consideration of charges of violating a trespassing order, for an incident reported at 4:46 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of Lindsay Drive, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
MARSHALL — A 21-year-old male was arrested for fourth degree assault, obstruction of legal process and fleeing a peace officer, as well as on a Department of Corrections warrant, in an incident reported at 2:56 p.m. Tuesday on the 600 block of North U.S. Highway 59, Marshall Police said.
MINNEOTA — Harassment was reported at 1:46 p.m. Tuesday on the 700 block of North Jefferson Street, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.
TAUNTON — A report is pending on a violation of conditions of release reported at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of West First Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
MARSHALL — A report is not complete on a criminal sexual conduct incident reported at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday, Marshall Police said.

LYON COUNTY — One person was injured in an ATV crash reported at 2:37 p.m. Tuesday on the 2000 block of 330th Avenue, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said. One person was taken to the Tracy emergency room with unknown injuries, the Sheriff’s Department said.
