MARSHALL – Lee Ann Valano, 36, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court April 22 on two counts of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult charges. A complaint alleges Valano took more than $4,000 of a vulnerable adult’s money for her own use in Lyon County between August and December 2014. A hearing was set for May 5. Bail for Valano was set at $10,000 without conditions, or release with conditions including appear in court and abide by laws.

MARSHALL – Shante Renae Bratsch, 19, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court April 22 on charges of theft. A complaint alleges Bratsch stole property worth more than $1,000 from a residence in Marshall on Dec. 14. A hearing was set for May 5. Bail for Bratsch was set at $5,000 without conditions, or release with conditions including appear in court, abide by laws and have no contact with the alleged victim.
