GHENT – A Ghent girl, 16, was cited for speeding in a traffic related incident reported at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of North Collins Street and McQuestion Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

LYND – A sign was struck on Monday and was reported in a damage to property incident at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and Lyon County Road 30, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A tiger striped kitten was taken to the Animal Impoundment Center in an animal complaint incident reported at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday on the 1300 block of Canoga Park Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A large chocolate lab was taken to the Animal Impoundment Center in an animal complaint incident reported at 8:52 a.m. Tuesday on the 800 block of North Bruce Street, Marshall Police said. The dog was later released to its owner after fees were paid, Police said.
