LYON COUNTY – A Lucan man, 56, was arrested for third degree DWI and was brought to the Law Enforcement Center, in an incident reported at 12:08 a.m. Sunday on the 3100 block of Lyon County Road 6, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

COTTONWOOD – An Andover man, 22, was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in an incident reported at 9:01 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and Lyon County Road 9, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A Sioux Falls, S.D., man, 44, was arrested for third degree DWI and was brought to the Law Enforcement Center, in an incident reported at 8:42 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of South O’Connell Street and East College Drive, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A Melrose man, 41, was cited for speeding in a traffic related complaint incident reported at 2:16 p.m Saturday at the intersection of 310th Street and Minnesota Highway 23, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 29, was cited for speeding in a traffic related complaint incident reported at 3:42 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 230th Street and Lyon County Road 9, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

TRACY – An animal complaint incident was reported at 2:17 p.m. Friday on the 300 block of Morgan Street, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.

Accidents

YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY – Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash reported at 11:15 a.m. Monday on Highway 212, the Minnesota State Patrol said. A 2000 Ford pickup driven by Kurtis Bennett, 28, of Montevideo, was eastbound on Highway 212 when it crossed the center line, the State Patrol said. Bennett overcorrected, and the vehicle entered the ditch and rolled, the State Patrol said. Both Bennett and passenger Lacey Knutson, 27, of Granite Falls, were transported to the Granite Falls Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.
