MARSHALL – William Richard Moudry, 38, of Marshall, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court Dec. 23 to charges of third degree driving while impaired, court records said. Moudry drove with an alcohol level of .19 in Marshall on Nov. 1, court records said. Moudry pleaded guilty by way of a Norgaard plea, court records said. In a Norgaard plea, a defendant maintains that he is unable to remember the facts of the incident he is being charged for. Moudry was sentenced to one year in jail with 335 days stayed, pay a $700 fine, and two years probation with conditions including serve 30 days in jail, obtain a chemical use assessment and abide by laws.

MARSHALL – Kenneth John Stellmach, 58, of Marshall, was sentenced in Lyon County District Court Dec. 23 for charges of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and fourth degree driving while impaired. Stellmach failed to stop for a traffic stop in Tracy on May 26, court records said. Stellmach received a stayed sentence of one year and one day in prison, a $300 fine, and three years probation with conditions including serve 30 days in jail, with credit for 13 days already served, obtain a chemical use assessment and abide by laws.

MARSHALL – Lloyd James Rosenau, Jr., 42, of Marshall, was sentenced in Lyon County District Court Dec. 23 for charges of fifth degree controlled substance crime, third degree driving while impaired and obstructing legal process. Rosenau possessed methamphetamines in Marshall on May 28, court records said. Rosenau was sentenced to 81 months in prison, with credit for 91 days already served. Additional charges of child endangerment, possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and third degree driving while impaired were dismissed.

MARSHALL – Shawn Patrick Liebhard, 23, of Marshall, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court Dec. 23 to charges of third degree criminal property damage and third degree driving while impaired, court records said. Liebhard caused damage to a vehicle and a patio fence at a Marshall business on Sept. 1, court records said. Liebhard was sentenced to one year in jail with 290 days stayed, pay a $700 fine, and two years probation with conditions including serve 75 days in jail with credit for 46 days already served, pay $1,000 in restitution, obtain a chemical use assessment, and have no contact with the business owner.
