Courts for Aug. 9

MARSHALL – Adrian Alan Jones, 27, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 5 on charges of fifth degree controlled substance crime and possession of a hypodermic needle. A complaint alleges Jones possessed methamphetamines in Marshall on July 7 and had a prior controlled substance crime conviction in 2013. The court found probable cause for the charges, and a motion to dismiss the charges was denied. A hearing was set for Aug. 19.

MARSHALL – Kenneth John Stellmach, 57, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 5 on charges of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, third degree driving while impaired – refusal to test, fourth degree driving while impaired and speeding. A complaint alleges Stellmach fled a traffic stop in Tracy on May 26. A hearing was continued to Sept. 16.

MARSHALL – Deborah Ann Mata, 35, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 5 on charges of third degree driving while impaired. A complaint alleges Mata drove with an alcohol level of .16 in Marshall on June 11. A hearing was set for Aug. 19.

MARSHALL – Jordan Paul Lanners, 26, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 5 on charges of second degree assault, terroristic threats, two counts of reckless discharge of a firearm and domestic assault charges. A complaint alleges Lanners threatened a woman and shot a revolver several times on July 19. A hearing was set for Sept. 16.

MARSHALL – Jeffrey Lee Sanders, 53, of Tracy, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court Aug. 5 to charges of driving after cancellation – inimical to public safety, court records said. Sanders drove with a cancelled license in Tracy on May 16, court records said. Sanders received a stayed sentence of 91 days in jail and was sentenced to pay a $450 fine, complete 80 hours of service, not to operate motor vehicles and abide by laws.

MARSHALL – Blake Allen Depyper, 34, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 5 on charges of fourth degree assault, obstructing legal process and disorderly conduct. A complaint alleges Depyper held a BB gun in a way that made it appear to be a real gun and assaulted a peace officer while being arrested, in Marshall on July 21. A hearing was set for Aug. 19.

MARSHALL – David John Schroer, 49, of Balaton, appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 5 on two counts of third degree driving while impaired charges. A complaint alleges Schroer drove with an alcohol level of .2 in Lyon County on July 22. A hearing was set for Aug. 19.
