The Wabasso Rabbits football team received a screaming send-off Friday morning before the trip to Minneapolis for the Class A state championship game against Minneota at U.S. Bank. Team mothers served breakfast and gave out goodie bags for the two-day trip. Fans lined the streets, waiving face posters of their favorite players, while others lined Minnesota Highway 68 to watch as the Wabasso Fire Truck and Ambulance lead the charter bus of players and coaches from the school down Cedar Street and out of town along Highway 68.
