Nora Dombrovski, 3, daughter of Chelsea and Hayden Dombrovski of Marshall, is the official first customer to play on the new fire truck-themed playground equipment at Liberty Park. Members of the Marshall Fire Department and city of Marshall and Marshall Sunrise Rotary Club teamed up to raise funds to replace the 15-year-old ship motif playground equipment. A variety of fundraisers took place to accrue the $41,000 needed. “The community was really supportive of our fundraisers,” said Mike Henle, Sunrise Rotary president. People can still drop off donations at the fire hall, said Fire Chief Marc Klaith.
