WWG to have fall festival, open house

Westbrook-Walnut Grove Schools will have a fall festival and open house from 5-11 p.m. Tuesday. Rain date is Wednesday, Aug. 29. Free admission and free games and prizes for all ages. Free fair food (doughnuts, cheese curds and more) will be provided by the Westbrook Lions Club food wagon from 5-7 p.m. Hot dogs, chips, bars and pop or water provided by Maynards, Westbrook Women’s Club and Westbrook Kiwanis. Food available for purchase includes egg rolls and bubble tea provided by Mai Lee Yang family of Walnut Grove.

Activities include bounce house, bean bags, face painting and fire truck rides provided by the Westbrook Fire Department.

The open house is from 7-9 p.m. Students and parents meet in the gym at 7 p.m.
