Local students named to CSB dean’s list

Three local students have earned the distinction of being named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester at the College of Saint Benedict.

• McKeigh Bossuyt, the daughter of Kenny and Alison Bossuyt of Marshall, is a junior nursing major at CSB.

• Sophia Buysse, the daughter of Chuck and Sharon Buysse of Marshall, is a junior biology and pre-engineering major at CSB.

• Alyssa Louwagie, the daughter of Jackie Lovsness and Pat Louwagie of Marshall, is a junior natural science major at CSB.

To be included in the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of at least 3.80 and have completed 12 credits for which honor points (A, B, C, etc.) are awarded. Students included on the dean’s list cannot have any “unsatisfactory” or “incomplete” grades for that semester.

Local students named to SJU dean’s list

Three local students have earned the distinction of being named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester at Saint John’s University.

• Brent Andries, the son of Joe and Helen Andries of Marshall, is a junior accounting major.

• Jack Bock, the son of Todd and Jane Bock of Marshall, is a junior global business leadership major.

• Quinton Johnson, the son of Alan Johnson and Janet DeVos-Johnson of Marshall, is a junior political science and history major.

To be included in the dean’s list, students must have a semester grade-point average of at least 3.80 and have completed 12 credits for which honor points (A, B, C, etc.) are awarded.

Area students named to dean’s list at University of Minnesota, Morris

Hannah Brockway and Tori Schons of Tracy have been named to the University of Minnesota Morris dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must achieve a grade point average of 3.666 or higher while taking 12 or more credits on the A-F grading system, with no incompletes or nonsatisfactory grades.

Hey receives University of Nebraska-Lincoln degree

Sydney Hey of Marshall was among 751 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during the summer commencement ceremony Aug. 11 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Hey earned a bachelor of arts from the College of Arts and Sciences.
