NCAA MEN’S BASKETBALL: Former Marshall Tiger CD Douglas earns All-Decade honors at U of M Morris

ST. PAUL – Just a week removed from the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announcing the honorees for the women’s basketball all-decade team, team of the decade and coach of the decade that featured a pair of Cougars being selected, conference officials announced the all-decade honorees for men’s basketball.

CD Douglas, a former Minnesota Morris guard who haunted UMAC teams from 2014-2018 was the lone Cougar to receive the honor.

Hailing from Marshall, Douglas is widely considered one of the most decorated players in the history of the conference. In his four years as a Cougar, he received three First Team All-UMAC selections and was voted the UMAC Player of the Year as a senior in the 2017-18 season. The 6-foot-2 guard didn’t just rack up conference honors, earning a handful of regional and national honors during his time at Minnesota Morris as well.

In the 2017-18 season, Douglas earned First Team All-Region honors by the NABC and D3Hoops. He would also earn a Fourth Team All-American nod from D3Hoops. Douglas left the Cougars program as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,960 points. His 455 career assists was good enough for second all-time in the program and he hauled in 538 rebounds for third all-time.
