PREP VOLLEYBALL: Multiple players highlight All-Conference teams for Camden

MARSHALL — The Camden Conference recently announced its All-Conference teams for volleyball, and multiple area players highlight the list.

For Minneota, Lydia Sussner, Morgan Kockelman, Lizzy Gillingham, and Abby Hennen all made it for the Vikings while Meeghen Dahlager, Mackenzie Dyrdahl and Madison Hinz made it for Yellow Medicine East. Morgan Cleveland and Brooke Nelson both made it for Canby while Samantha Edwards and Cassidy Smith represented Tracy-Milroy-Balaton. For Russell-Tyler-Ruthton, Kalleigh Carr and Haley Muenchow made it for the Knights while LeAnn Stensrud represented Lakeview and Karoline Dahl represented Dawson-Boyd.

Rounding out the rest of the Camden All-Conference list are Pipe Asche and Danni Burns of MACCRAY, along with Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg’s Katie Krieger. Renville County West had two representatives in Avery Elfering and Lauren Wulf while Central Christian and Lac qui Parle Valley each had one in Elli Stoel (CMCS) and Haley Wollschalger (LQPV).

On the Camden Conference Honorable Mention team, Natalee Rolbiecki (Minneota), Allie Steffen (YME), Ahlea Wright (Canby), McKinley Schreurs (RTR) and Mary Bothun (Dawson-Boyd) were all representatives for their schools. Joining them are Sidney Gerdes (LQPV), Mallory Rudningen (KMS), Vanessa Savig (RCW) and Molly Mulder (CMCS).

Sussner was named Camden Conference MVP and Hayley Fruin of Minneota was named Coach of the Year.
