MARSHALL – The Marshall Bantam A hockey team opened their season with a pair of home wins this past weekend. On Saturday, the Tigers shutout the Boji Blizzard, beating them 19-0. Braxton Meyer lead the scoring with six goals and two assists, while Lincoln Mellenthin secured the shutout in goal.

On Sunday, Marshall beat Waseca 11-9. Wyatt Boerboom lead the scoring with four goals and one assist, Gabe Sherman added three goals and one assist and Sean Nwaiga tailed two goals and two assists.

The Tigers Bantam A team travels to Albert Lea this upcoming weekend for tournament play with games against Albert Lea, Kansas City, MO and Freemont, NE.
