PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Nine Tigers earn All-Conference honors for cross country
MARSHALL – The Big South All-Conference teams for boys and girls cross country were announced on Friday and a few Marshall athletes made the list.
In boys cross country, Zach Matzner and Quentin Blomme led the way for Marshall with All-Conference honors. Joining them in the big schools division are Adam Koller, Mikele Walu and Andrew Huber (Worthington) and Bailey More and Mohammed Yaya (St. Peter).
Marshall’s Jenson Meyer and Karter Wasberg also earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors. Joining them in the big schools division are Cole Halla, Will Stahl, Eli Johannsen and Matthew Feldkamp (Waseca) and Christian Lietz (Worthington).
In girls cross country, Jersey Leysen, Bellamy Sukalski, Natalee Sample and Kate Bucher all led the way for Marshall with All-Conference honors. Joining them in the big schools division are Ella Dufault, Ana McCabe and Abbe Dufault (Waseca).
Marshall’s Allyson Sample also earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors. Joining her in the big schools division are Laura Thompson and Sarah Krumholz (Fairmont), Izzy Lind and Hadley Struehrenberg (St. Peter) and Emily Demorrett and Alayna Akers (Waseca).
