Anna McCosh scored 27 points, passing Jenny Kuehn’s 1,251 career points as the program’s all-time leading scorer.

McCosh added nine rebounds in the win.

MINNEOTA — Marshall picked up a road victory on Friday, defeating Class A third-ranked Minneota 43-22.

The win marked the first victory for Marshall over Minneota since 1984, according to Marshall coach Justin Bouwman.

Hsa Khee Lar recorded a pin over Truman Wambeke in the 113 bout to give Marshall an early 9-0 lead. The Tigers would push that lead to 19-0 before the Vikings got on the scoreboard.

Marshall shut the door on Minneota, beginning at the 182-pound bout. With Marshall holding a 25-16 lead, Wyatt Martin, Jaiden Bahr and Zack Felcyn all pinned their opponents to seal the win.
